Galanthus Anglesey Aurora (Pre-Order)

One of the apricot- and orange-toned snowdrops associated with Anglesey Abbey in Cambridgeshire, a National Trust garden that has produced a remarkable run of warm-coloured Galanthus elwesii selections, including 'Anglesey Orange Tip'. As a giant-snowdrop type it has the larger flowers and broad grey-green leaves of G. elwesii, with the warm 'aurora' colouring developing in the opening buds and markings before fading paler as the flower matures, flowering mid to late winter. It is a scarce collector's snowdrop, and as precise detail on this clone is limited the description reflects its known Anglesey Abbey provenance and the orange-tinted character of the group.
