Galanthus Chantry Dougal (Pre-Order)

A relatively new and rather late-flowering selection from the Chantry series of Wol and Sue Staines at Glen Chantry, Essex, blooming around February into March. Each white flower carries a distinct narrow green mark on the outer segments, and the blooms are notably weatherproof, holding up well through late winter. Established bulbs are vigorous enough to throw two flowering scapes at once, so even a small clump gives a generous display, and the plant reaches roughly 18cm. Its later season makes it useful for extending the snowdrop display.
