Galanthus Chiltern Doppelganger (Pre-Order)

A Galanthus plicatus selection of the Trym-like, inverse-poculiform persuasion, in which the outer segments take on a green-marked, often notched form so that the flower can look unusually symmetrical front to back. The name nods to its resemblance to the celebrated 'Trym' and its kin from near Bristol, which triggered a wave of similarly shaped seedlings. As with many Trym-types it flowers in late winter and shows the broad, pleated leaves of the species. Reliable detail on this particular clone is limited, so the description reflects what can be said with confidence about its type.
