Galanthus David Foreman (Pre-Order)

A choice and substantial Galanthus elwesii hybrid that traces back to single-marked elwesii x 'Trym' crosses associated with the plantsman David Foreman, this distinctive form arising as a chance seedling nearby. The large, heavy-substanced flowers combine bold green markings on the outer segments with a fully green inner segment, producing a very striking two-tone effect. It is long-lasting in flower and typically opens in mid-February. A robust, collectable snowdrop.
