Bred by Anne Wright of Dryad Nursery and the first registered 2 marked yellow snowdrop, fittingly raised from 'Dryad Leto' crossed with 'Dryad Zeus', both of which carry 'Wendy's Gold' in their parentage for the golden colouring. The almost perfectly conical flowers dangle from a softly curved spathe on strong upright stems about 12cm high over short, spreading plicate leaves. The short pedicel, cylindrical ovary and the double mark on the outer segments all share the same golden colour, with the marking repeated on the inners. A dazzling and highly collectable snowdrop.
