Galanthus Dryad Gold Medal (Pre-Order)

A yellow snowdrop from the acclaimed Dryad Gold group bred by Anne Wright at Dryad Nursery in North Yorkshire. The group arose from crossing G. plicatus 'Wendy's Gold' with a yellow nivalis of the Sandersii group, a cross that proved impossible to repeat, making the seedlings unique. 'Dryad Gold Medal' is one of the later-flowering members, valued for its rounder, fuller flowers that carry the yellow season on from earlier siblings. It is notably vigorous and sturdy, quick to form a clump and reliable in the open garden.
