Galanthus Dryad Venus (Pre-Order)

An especially shapely inverse poculiform snowdrop bred by Anne Wright at Dryad Nursery for her Myths and Legends series, named for the goddess of love and beauty. The curvaceous flowers have outer segments that flatten and flare with a frilled edge on mature blooms, each bearing an inverted emerald-green heart-shaped mark, while the more hidden inners carry a deeper green X. It is a scented, mid-height snowdrop growing to about 20cm with an upright habit and short plicate leaves at flowering. With 'Wendy's Gold' and 'Corrin' as parents, it also has value in breeding yellow poculiforms.
