Galanthus Fieldgate Sophie (Pre-Order)

A striking Galanthus plicatus cultivar from the Fieldgate series raised by the late Colin Mason of Fieldgate Snowdrops. Its most distinctive feature is the outer segments, which carry an unusual continuous green mark running the full length of each petal from base to apex, giving the flower a quite different look from a typical snowdrop. As a plicatus it has the broad, pleated leaves of the species and a robust habit. Highly sought-after among collectors, it ranks alongside Mason's other prized introductions such as 'Fieldgate Superb'.
