Galanthus Rainbow Pot of Gold (Pre-Order)

A robust yellow-marked Galanthus plicatus introduced by Rainbow Farm Snowdrops, originating as a seedling from a yellow snowdrop found near Babraham in Cambridgeshire. It is relatively tall, holding its flowers well above splayed, semi-prostrate leaves on sturdy scapes; the inner segments carry a yellow U-shaped mark pointed in the middle, while the ovary is a greenish-yellow that unusually shows longitudinal ridges. As with many yellows, the best colour develops in a sunny position. It flowers in February and is very vigorous, bulking up well.
