Galanthus Wendy's Gold (Pre-Order)

One of the best-known and most reliable yellow snowdrops, a vigorous form of the pleated snowdrop Galanthus plicatus reaching around 15-20cm. The nodding white flowers carry a rich golden-yellow ovary above broad, grey-green pleated leaves, and the inner segments bear a large yellow mark that nearly fills the segment, sometimes opening greenish before maturing to clear yellow. It holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit and develops its best colour when left undisturbed in well-drained, humus-rich soil. A classic that has been used as a parent for many later yellow cultivars.
